I am detecting plenty of Chinese shame going around the Chinese descent community (yours truly not excepted). Sure a great percentage of us is still maintaining the Confucian tradition, but few has embraced the aesthetic quality of our ancestors. Drinking to avoid making tough decisions is a favourite pastime of mine. The beautiful thing about it is it isolates you from all of your problems, the downside is it isolates you from the solutions as well. I think pre evening self intoxication makes me look like Roger Sterling, although I probably look like a dickhead drinking single malts at three in the afternoon.
